Definitions:
Server - a computer where the visual stimulator runs (Gong).
Client - a computer which controls the visual stimulator (Glinka).
Register the stimulator on both client and server machines: run from the command prompt:
>Z:\ExperimentDB\VisualStimulator\CP_VisualStimulator.exe -RegServer
There should be a window showing that the server has been successfully registered.
Configure DCOM using Dcomcnfg.exe on both client and server machines.
Before using StimulusMasterDB install BarCtl and Daq_Dll on the client as
described in readme.txt located in:
\\Mccoy\KML_root\ExperimentDB\ExpStimMaster\ExpStimMasterReferences
Start Z:\ExperimentDB\VisualStimulator\CP_VisualStimulator.exe on the server. The screen should become grey.
Start StimulusMasterDB_??.mdb from
\\Mccoy\KML_root\ExperimentDB\ExpStimMaster on the client machine.
